Online Tutoring
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOur Dakota Dreams offers free online tutoring for all South Dakota K-12 students. Led by tutors pursuing education degrees at Northern State University and Black Hills State University, these sessions are valuable tools to help students succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
New this year, we’re introducing two unique programs to take advantage of online tutoring. Students can now access tutors for homework help, or they can use our newest option called Tutor Tracks.
Introducing Tutor Tracks
Tutor Tracks connects students with online tutors over a seven-week period to focus on Reading, Grammar or Math. With tutor-led lessons, this program supports what’s already being taught in the classroom, providing extra practice and repetition to reinforce foundations of learning. Details:
- Parents register their students for Tutor Tracks
- Students meet with their tutor 2x per week over 7 weeks
- First term includes two session options:
September 11 through October 27, 2023 (Reading and Grammar available)
October 30 through December 15, 2023 (Reading, Grammar and Math available)
The program opens September 5th!
